Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz Robbed

This is something you won’t hear everyday! Ashlee Simpson and soon to be hubby Pete Wentz were robbed on a getaway to Costa Rica. They were not able to catch the robbers because they were monkeys - yep you read it right - monkeys.

When the two reported their missing items to the resort workers they were told that it was monkeys and that they like shiny things. It’s a good thing the couple still have their hair because they both have some of the greasiest shiniest hair I have ever seen.

Item’s missing were: sunglasses, a Sony, Wireseal hat and a favorite make-up bag (unclear on if it was Ashlee’s or Pete’s).

Now we’re not suggesting that the “monkey” scenerio isn’t plausible, but if you were in the market to ‘lift’ some great loot, the “monkey” ploy would be a great way to run a scam in Costa Rica. Leave it to Ashlee and Pete to fall for it hook, line and sinker.

The Chris Brown Rihanna Abuse scandal has stirred the net over the weekend and has even eclipsed the 2009 Grammy Awards where Rihanna and Chris Brown were set to perform but canceled at the last minute. Story goes that Chris Brown turned himself into the Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire station around 6:30 on Sunday. He was then questioned and booked on suspicion of making a criminal threat, which is a felony.

Chris Brown’s arrest stemmed from a domestic violence complaint in the posh Hancock Park area of Los Angeles. A woman widely believed to be Rihanna, reported to police that she and Brown had gotten into a fight in a car just after midnight that morning. Rihanna said Chris Brown pulled the vehicle over and the argument became more intense. The woman believed to be Rihanna, “suffered visible injuries” and pinpointed to Chris Brown as her attacker, police said. Several witnesses are reporting that they saw Chris Brown with Rihanna. “Rihanna was clearly very upset by what had happened and I could hear her screaming. Rihanna was trying to get her point across about something, she sounded like she was crying as she tried to get her point across,” an eyewitness said. Rumors are rife that they were arguing about how Rihanna gave Chris Brown herpes. No word out yet about the veracity of this wild gossip
